THE POPPY FIELD

Description

There is a war in Ukraine now, but at the same time poppy blossoming has begun in California. I would love to move to this beautiful place to run through it’s red fields and feel that salty breeze of the ocean.I painted this picture in impasto technique, with the palette knife to add volume and energy to this oil painting.
